Every year, Target media buyers vote
for the best sales representative in national print media based
on excellent quality of service. This year, the award recognized
Adams' dedicated service to Target, who has been his client
since 2001.
"It
is obvious to me that Target is this rep's number one priority,"
said Bridget Sullivan, Western Region Media Buyer at Target,
praising Adams for his outstanding service. "He has a long-standing
relationship with Target and has stepped up to the plate over
the years. He knows our business inside out and understands
our campaigns and plans. And he comes to us with ideas that
fit our Target brand and image."
The criteria
for this award included "excellence", "dedication"
and "consistent service in the ever changing retail world"
that is "above and beyond," per Sullivan's words during
the award ceremony.
Adams has
been Sr. National Account Executive at La Opinión,
the leading Spanish-language daily newspaper in the United States,
since January 2006 and has become an expert in the retail industry
over the years. His prior work experience includes account management
at the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, the Ventura County Star
and the LA Times.
"Our
sales team's priority is customer service." Said Carol
Mintz, La Opinión's Vice President of Advertising.
"We want our clients to get the best experience and to
see us as a partner in this competitive environment."
Target has
been advertising consistently with La Opinión
through retail inserts' weekly programs in La Opinión
Contigo and community relations' ROP campaigns in the daily
newspaper.
"I
am really honored that Target recognized my work with this award."
Said Adams. "We have a very unique partnership with Target.
We work together to benefit both companies and I look forward
to developing more successful campaigns with their media buying
team."
