Mike Cano Joins La Opinión as Director of Marketing and
Olga Casabona Promoted to Corporate Director of Research

New York, NY (June 14, 2007) – ImpreMedia, LLC, the nation’s #1 Spanish-language print and online news publisher, has announced that Mike Cano has joined La Opinión as Director of Marketing and has promoted Olga Casabona to Corporate Director of Research.
Most recently, Mike Cano was President and CEO of LANG’s Impacto USA out of Long Beach. Prior to Impacto, he was recruited by the Belo Company to launch and develop Al Dia in Dallas, Texas, which he successfully grew into the leading Spanish-language daily newspaper in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. Before that, Mike was General Manager of the Orange County Register's Excelsior.

Under her new responsibilities, Olga will provide strategic analysis and research to support the growth initiatives of all divisions including advertising, circulation, editorial, and online.
Olga joined La Opinión in 2003 as a Senior Market Research Analyst, and was appointed ImpreMedia’s Market Research Manager when La Opinión became part of the ImpreMedia umbrella. Prior to that, she was six years at McKinsey & Co and Accenture as a Strategy Research Associate in Madrid, London and Boston.
