Names Bob Mason Chief Technology Officer

(New York, NY) - ImpreMedia, the largest Spanish-language newspaper
publisher in the US, announced today that Bob Mason has been named
Chief Technology Officer. In addition to his role at the corporate
level, Mason will serve as the top IT executive for ImpreMedia's
Los Angeles newspaper, La Opinión. The appointment is effective
immediately.
In this newly
created position, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Mason will be
the architect and primary executor of technical strategy, overseeing
software selection, implementation, operations, training, systems
architecture and software development corporate wide.

Mr. Mason
most recently served as the Director of Publishing Systems for
The Dallas Morning News, a Belo company. During his tenure in
Dallas, he worked in all aspects of the Information Technology
department. He is nationally recognized as a specialist in technology
and makes regular speaking engagements on publishing and technology
trends. His team won the Newspaper Association of American Best
Practice award in 2001 and 2004.
