Mark Andrews Named Finance Director and Bill Elliott Named National Advertising Director at La Opinión

Los Angeles, CA (March 12, 2007) – La Opinión, the leading Spanish-language newspaper in the United States announces today the appointment of Mark Andrews as Finance Director and Bill Elliott as National Advertising Director.

Mr. Andrews has been with La Opinión as its Controller since May of 2006 and arrived at La Opinión with over two decades of experience in the newspaper industry, holding a variety of positions in the Finance Department of the Los Angeles Times and its subsidiary, the Recycler Classifieds, where he was Director of Finance. A fourth-generation Angelino, Mr. Andrews earned his MBA degree at UCLA and his BS degree at USC.

La Opinión also announced that Bill Elliott will be joining the company as National Advertising Director. Mr. Elliott has more than 15 years experience in the newspaper industry having spent the last 12 with Los Angeles Newspaper Group, publishers of the Los Angeles Daily News. In his new role, Mr. Elliott will work with Erich Linker, Senior Vice President, National Sales at ImpreMedia in a sales coordination capacity and also with Andres Fuentes, VP of Advertising for La Opinión.
