Ruben Keoseyan Joins ImpreMedia as
Publisher of La Raza Newspaper in Chicago

Chicago, IL (January 15, 2008) –ImpreMedia, the No.1 Hispanic news and information company in the U.S. in online and print, announced today the appointment of Ruben Keoseyan as Publisher of La Raza newspaper, Chicago’s premier Spanish-language weekly.

Not entirely new to the ImpreMedia team, in 2000, Keoseyan began a five-year term at ImpreMedia’s Los Angeles daily, La Opinión, where he was Managing Editor and in 2004, he was promoted to Executive Editor of largest Spanish-language daily in the country.

In 2005, Keoseyan, ventured to Puerto Rico were he was hired as Director of Primera Hora the colorful, popular tabloid publication that in 10 years of existence has become the largest single copy newspaper in the country.

Keoseyan began his career as a journalist for Televisa, the largest television network in Mexico. Later he relocated to Santa Barbara, California, where he conducted the Spanish-language simulcast of the 6PM news for KEYT, an ABC affiliate. Subsequently, Keoseyan served as News Director and Anchor for KSBY, an NBC affiliate, where he spearheaded the first Spanish-language newscast for Latinos in California’s Central coast.

Keoseyan was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and a Masters degree from The American University in Washington, DC.
