The Facts Behind The 300 million Reach
In the 1960’s the U.S. population reached 200 million; four decades later on this month, it reached 300 million. Within that timeframe, Latinos were the ethnic group that showed the largest increase in population accounting for 36% of the 100 million increases.

Latin Food on the Rise
Next to Asian food, Latin food is the second fastest growing ethnic food category in the U.S. with sales that were worth $18 billion in 2005. The U.S. foodservice for Hispanic Foods estimates that in 2015, the Latin foodservice has a potential to reach sales worth up to $ 29 billion.

Wireless Carriers Pursue the Latino Community
A research finding by Telephia Inc. in quarter three of 2005 noted that Latinos rank among the top two ethnic groups who use the most voice minutes per month. Wireless carriers are striving to tap into the Latino community by offering their services in Spanish.

Hispanics Find Healthier Ways of Relieving Stress
A recent study conducted by the American Psychological Association (APA) revealed that Hispanics rely on family and friends or exercise as healthier ways of relieving stress than the general U.S. population.
